These Three People Are to Blame for Roy Moore’s Campaign Fiasco

For the first time in decades, a Democrat has won a U.S. Senate seat in Alabama. Democrat Doug Jones won Alabama’s special election Tuesday by a narrow margin, edging out Republican Roy Moore whose campaign has been plagued by allegations of sexual improprieties with a 14-year-old girl when he was in his 30s.

Glenn opened the show today by proclaiming, “I believe I have a perfect record. I believe every time I make a political prediction, I’m wrong.” Hindsight being 20/20, Glenn looked into yesterday’s electoral upset to answer the question on the mind’s of many Republicans today:  ‘What the heck happened?’

“A Republican winning in Alabama is about as sure of a bet as you can make in politics,” said Glenn, adding, “The question is ‘how did we get here?’ Well, there are three people that I would like to blame for this fiasco.”
