2020 was a rough year with very little travel due to the ongoing global coronavirus pandemic.
With vaccines rolling out, there seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel. As the familiar wanderlust of travel creeps back in, many are hoping to resume "normal" life sometime this year.
So where should you visit once travel resumes?
Travel and Leisure Magazine released a list of the top 50 travel destinations for 2021.
A place right here in Kentucky made the list. Lexington landed at number 22.
According to the magazine, Lexington has "a handful of pilgrimage-worthy culinary and cultural developments" that will bring travelers into the state this year.
