Angry Lover Bites Off Boyfriend's Ear Over Cheating Allegations

A scorned lover bit off part of his boyfriend's ear after accusing the man of cheating. Police said that Edward Anthony Lopez Gomez confronted his boyfriend of three years, Marcos Brito, in their Phoenix apartment.

During the argument, Brito corned Gomez in the corner of their bathroom and Gomez bit off his ear.

"I just remember him looking at me in shock, with blood in his mouth, and me just feeling like a faucet was pouring of blood," Brito told Fox 10. "I just felt it run down my chest."

Brito then ran to the parking lot where police found him holding his ear in the palm of his hand. He was rushed to the hospital where doctors were able to reattach it.

"It gives me a lot of anxiety," said Brito. "I'm already a very anxious person, and it just worries me so much. My life changed within a matter of minutes."

Gomez was arrested and charged with one count of aggravated assault.
