Trump Tells U.N. To Focus "More On People And Less On Bureaucracy"

President Trump is challenging the United Nations to end business-as-usual.  Trump called for bold reforms at the UN's annual fall meetings in New York Monday (September 18).  He argued that the UN has been stifled by a bloated bureaucracy and mismanagement for too long.

Trump said the world body is not reaching its full potential.  He stressed that the U.S. wants to see a UN that focuses on people, not bureaucracy.

Trump will make his first address as President to the UN General Assembly Tuesday (September 19) morning.
